Sometimes....

sometimes when your intentions are good, you receive negative reactions
sometimes when you work hard for something, you would not get any recognition
sometimes when you give too much, you will be rejected
sometimes when you dream high, you will fall hard
sometimes when you try to help, you offend others
sometimes when you try to explain, you would be misunderstood
sometimes when you need love, you would only feel alone


if only there's a switch to turn on/off our feelings.. so we can just stop caring.... not feel the hurt.. be numb.............. then you can tell me every thing you want to say.. and i won't feel anything...

Goal for 2009

This picture was taken 2 years ago.. at Reysiel's unit in iHouse. I lost 5 kilos in a span of 2 weeks.. i got sick (physically, mentally and emotionally) hehe

Leaving Bangkok after 3 years -- got a new life here in Singapore, been working from home, avid McD's delivery caller.... no exercise (well, i tried once but I fell off a flight of stairs after a 30 minute work out).. I've been very lazy and binge on the yummy-but-not-so-healthy food. Aside from gaining more than the 5 kilos i lost before.. I also get sick a lot..


Hence my goal for this year, is to be healthy and at least look like this girl in this picture (the one in the middle of course -- would need a lot of work if i want to look like Draide or Reysiel)

Goodbye Santika...

Its the first day of 2009... while I was reading my old blog and read about my entry when I was still a newbie in Bangkok..

When i woke up this morning, i got a sms from Rochie saying the Santika was burned down and a lot of people died.. it was the first sms for 2009.. it was a very sad news...

Santika is our very first BKK hang out.. we usually go there on a weekday (ooops good thing we are not working in BKK anymore, might get in trouble for saying this) Our german trainee friends were the ones who introduce this club to us -- Andi B and Valentin.. Every time we have visitors aside from bringing them to the temples and shopping malls, we would see to it that we also take them to this club. Special occassions were also held here - Reysiel's Birthday, Farang Ding Dong's farewell party.. Its a place where we all learned to love Johnny Red and Coke, Tata Young's songs (Sexy Naughty Bitchy), Dragostea Din Tea (Maya hi.. Maya ho..), Kevin Lyttle's Turn me on, Sarah Conner's Love is colorblind and Bounce, the thai song Ab Ngao, Kriss Kross' Jump (which we all think has become thai club's most requested song), The club's bands.. there were 2 bands, one is the rock group with a very hyperactive guitarist and the other group which became part of our BKK life -- (hmm forgot their original name but I know Reysiel would still remember) ALL STAR BAND!

We first got invited to see this place when Valentin and Andi B. asked us if we wanted to go to this hip club that have a band with a singer that looks like Eminem and sings "The loof the loof the loof is on fire"

How ironic... Santika is now gone because of fire that started from its ceiling...

(Thank God, my bkk friends were not in Santika last night...)
